Football has fascinated me for as long as I can remember.

It’s not just the ninety minutes. It’s the places, the people and the traces the sport leaves behind.

Stadiums, stands, fences, streets and concrete all tell their own stories. They are meeting places, sites of remembrance and backdrops for moments that extend far beyond the match itself.

On my travels, I capture precisely these impressions. Not the action itself, but what happens before, after and in between.
